Meet Our Providers

Dr. Kim LaMotte-Malone has been in practice for over 25 years. She is the Department Chair of Pediatrics at Henderson Hospital. She attended USC and graduated in 1980. She subsequently went to Marquette Medical School and graduated in 1985; she completed her Internship and Residency at Stanford University Hospital in Pediatrics in 1988. She has been an active member in the community for over 20 years and has received the Children's Health Care Champion Award, Vegas Life Magazine's "Top Pediatrician," and other awards during her career. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. She cares for children and their families, educating them while following their growth from birth to 18 years.

During her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, Zumba dancing, and spending quality time with her family, including two children. 

 Dr. Natasa Mihic received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2000 graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. She spent time volunteering in the community including at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and Catholic Charities. Dr. Mihic subsequently attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine where she received her MD in 2007 with honors. She completed her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Arizona, Tucson in 2010. She has also been precepting Touro medical student as well as working closely with the Family Residents from the Valley Health System.  

In her free time she loves spending time with her family, playing tennis and traveling.  

Dr. Ineada Okafor is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She attended medical school at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Following that, she joined this practice where she continues to provide high-quality health care for children, making positive differences in her patients’ lives. She is also interested in preventive medicine and has been involved in research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications. She has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” in Nevada in her field as voted by her peers. In her free time Dr. Okafor enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading and traveling.  

 Dr. Catherine Smitha finished her undergraduate and medical degree at the University of the Philippines. She completed her pediatric residency  training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-El Paso from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, Dr. Smitha moved to Las Vegas to start her medical career. She has been taking care of the children in our community since then.
She loves spending time with her family, watching shows and traveling to new places. 

Dr. Douglas Barlow comes to Anthem Hills Pediatrics from Palm Beach, Florida where he spent 24 years in pediatric practice. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Amherst College and attended New York University School of Medicine. His pediatric residency was completed at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Barlows career in Florida included private pediatric practice, Staff Pediatrician at Florida State Clinics and 10 fulfilling years as a pediatrician for the Boca Raton Resort. He has educated students at all levels for 20 years as an Associate Professor of Medicine for the University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Barlow's public service includes working for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County where he focused on underserved areas in Florida and helped run the MASH Hospital in Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina. He also offered his services 3 times running the Pediatric Division of the Dorsainvil Foundation Haiti Relief Program after the earthquake in 2010.
 

He is an avid skier, scuba diver, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UNLV.

 Dr. Sarah Chamanara started her life out in Northern California, finished her bachelors degree at UC Berkeley, and moved to New York for a masters in Nutrition. Her higher education then took her to medical school right here in Las Vegas, at Touro University of Nevada. She then did her Pediatrics Residency in the corn and soy fields of the Midwest at Southern Illinois University. She missed the desert and the surrounding mountains so much that she had to return to Las Vegas after graduating from her program. 
When she is able to find free time, you can find her hiking or climbing in the various surrounding areas. Don't hesitate to say hi when you see her outdoors, she enjoys a friendly face.

Dr. Quach grew up in East Bay California. He then completed his B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis in 2014 and D.O. at Touro University Nevada in 2019. During his medical school training, he enjoyed living in Southern Nevada and saw there was a great need for pediatric care, therefore completed his pediatric residency training at UNLV in 2022. He is excited to continue serving the Southern Nevada community he calls home. During his free time, Dr. Quach likes spending quality time with his wife either hiking in Southern Nevada, watching sports, or tending to their houseplants.

Dr. Herrera grew up in a military family before her parents decided to settle in Las Vegas in 2001. Dr. Herrera calls Las Vegas her hometown. 

She received her bachelor's degree from UNLV and attended medical school at ATSU in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Herrera completed residency in Fairfax, Virginia before moving back home to Las Vegas to start her career in Pediatrics to give back to the community that raised her.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, watching TV with her dog and husband and has found her way back to reading for fun.    

Amy Dao grew up in Massachusetts and earned her B.A. degree from Amherst College while majoring in chemistry. She eventually found her way to medical school at Touro University of Nevada where she developed a passion for pediatrics and preventative care. She then completed pediatric residency with UNLV. Southern Nevada has grown slowly on her, so she decided to stay. She looks forward to serving the community she has been a part of for the past several years. 

 Hannah Imasa, PA-C received her graduate degree with Magna Cum Laude Honors in 1991 from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Shortly after, she attended the joint PA (Physician Assistant) program at UMDNJ (University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ) in 1998. She started her successful career initially working in Family Practice medicine in New Jersey for 7 years before her move with her family to Las Vegas in 2007. At that time she transitioned her knowledge and work expertise to the field of Pediatrics and has been employed at Anthem Hills Pediatrics.  She has three beautiful children and enjoys spending time with her husband and kids at parks and family events. She is a wonderful addition to our team at Anthem Hills Pediatrics! 

 Heather Poulos received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin Madison and worked on a telemetry unit and local ER in Illinois before PA school. I received my Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Concordia University of Wisconsin in 2019. I recently relocated to Nevada to start my career in pediatrics. I knew I wanted to go into pediatrics since I was 16 and I worked with children at a Summer Day Camp for 4 years as well as teaching preschool throughout college. I wanted to combine my love of medicine and working with children and became a pediatric PA.  In her spare time she loves to watch hockey, travel and spend time with her family 

Kevin Lopez was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Nevada - Las Vegas in 2017 with a degree in Biology. Prior to attending PA school, he worked as a hospice CNA for 2 years. Wanting to further his career in medicine, he then attended 

University of Nevada to receive his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his significant other, photography, fitness and hiking.

Caroline Robertson was born and raised right here in Henderson, NV. She received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2017. She moved back to Las Vegas where she practiced as an EMT before starting PA school in 2020. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada in 2022 and received her board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). 

In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and dogs. She loves weight lifting, hiking, gardening, board games, and reading. 

Shadi Usefi-Moridani received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Tehran University in 1997. She moved to New York in 2001.  After moving to New York she attended University in Buffalo where she received her Master’s degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and obtained her Board Certification from Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) in 2005. Her background includes working 4 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting and 18 years working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Primary Care, Gastroenterology, and Pediatric Neurology. 

Pediatric is her passion and she loves medicine which led her to combine these passions to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her philosophy is kids are not small adults, their care should be individualized based on their age, development stage and also their family skills.

In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband and their kids.  She also enjoys going to the beach and skiing.
