Dr. Douglas Barlow comes to Anthem Hills Pediatrics from Palm Beach, Florida where he spent 24 years in pediatric practice. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Amherst College and attended New York University School of Medicine. His pediatric residency was completed at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Barlows career in Florida included private pediatric practice, Staff Pediatrician at Florida State Clinics and 10 fulfilling years as a pediatrician for the Boca Raton Resort. He has educated students at all levels for 20 years as an Associate Professor of Medicine for the University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Barlow's public service includes working for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County where he focused on underserved areas in Florida and helped run the MASH Hospital in Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina. He also offered his services 3 times running the Pediatric Division of the Dorsainvil Foundation Haiti Relief Program after the earthquake in 2010.
He is an avid skier, scuba diver, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UNLV.

Dr. Sarah Chamanara started her life out in Northern California, finished her bachelors degree at UC Berkeley, and moved to New York for a masters in Nutrition. Her higher education then took her to medical school right here in Las Vegas, at Touro University of Nevada. She then did her Pediatrics Residency in the corn and soy fields of the Midwest at Southern Illinois University. She missed the desert and the surrounding mountains so much that she had to return to Las Vegas after graduating from her program.

Her background includes working 4 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting and 18 years working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Primary Care, Gastroenterology, and Pediatric Neurology.
Pediatric is her passion and she loves medicine which led her to combine these passions to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her philosophy is kids are not small adults, their care should be individualized based on their age, development stage and also their family skills.
In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband and their kids. She also enjoys going to the beach and skiing.
